On Wednesdays 4 June I will be playing clarinet and bass clarinet in the recording of the soundtrack Samaritan, a short film by the young Belgian film-maker Douglas Boswell.The music has been written by Dirk Brossé, and this is the third film where I get the opportunity to work directly with Brossé in a studio recording. He is really great with film music - as well as a busy conductor, working with world renowned orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
The recording will take place at the Bijloke Studio. Scored for a string orchestra, marimba, harp and clarinet/bass clarinet, this music will sure include some good solos in the clarinet part. The film will be featured in some festivals from September on. I will post more news about this film soon in my Blog.
