Marco Antonio Mazzini in Bolivia

While I am still in Peru, I received a last minute invitation to participate at the first Internation Clarinet and Saxophone Festival in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. This is the first time I will visit Bolivia.

My participation includes a recital of music for clarinet and bass clarinet solo ( I will play the "Partita" by Peruvian composer Armando Guevara Ochoa), give daily master classes and conduct the clarinet ensemble of the festival. This last group will perform my arrangements which are availabe for free in Clariperu.

I will published a full report in Clariperu, including photos and videos. I'm looking forwars to working with the Bolivian clarinetists!

LiPiBRePe plays Steve Reich

My new ensemble LiPiBRePe will offer its second concert in Lima, with works by Hallveig Agustsdottir, Sadiel Cuentas and myself. Our first performance proved to be a success - people were really enthusiastic with our musical proposal, and the Cafae auditorium was almost full!

During our second concert we will also perform "Clapping music" by renowed composer Steve Reich - and this is a premier in Peru!

The concert will take place at the Centro Cultural Ricardo Palma (Av. Larco 775, Miraflores), 7.00pm and free entrance. This concet was possible thanks to the support fo the National Conservatory of Peru.
