Thelema Trio at Logos

Next Thursday 3rd June I will be performing at Logos Foundation, as part of a full concert of Thelema Trio.

In our program is included the world premiere of L'astro della Palude" by Italian composer Beatrice Barazzoni. This piece is score for baritone/alto saxophone, clarinet/contrabass clarinet and piano. The composer herself will be working with us here in Belgium and then attend the concert at Logos.


I will also perform a duet together with Ward De Vlesschhouwer - "Necrólogo" by Venezuelan composer Icli Zitella, scored for bass clarinet and piano.

Works of Hallveig Agústsdóttir in LOGOS

Tonight, the visual works of Icelandic artist Hallveig Agústsdóttir will be shown at LOGOS in Gent, Belgium. This small concert hall is well known for its predilection for new music, new proposals - as you enter, the first thing you notice is a great robot orchestra.

Hallveig composes music too, and I will be playing at the piano "Ice Poems", and a graphic score for bass clarinet and live painting.Violinist Marieke Berendsen will also perform a graphic score and a duet with herself - a pre-recorded video of Marieke will be shown. This video is a serie of collages that Hallveig has been creating lately. Here is one for bass clarinet andone for cello.
